Problem: Structural cross bar on assembled desk prevents comfortable leg extension for relaxing posture.

Solution: Use structural cross bar as an anchor for footrest. Utilize friction from carpeting or other surface to mount angled foot platform.

Trash/recycle bins hybrid hanger: 

Problem: Personal trash and recycle bins use approximately 1 square foot of workable floor space. Much like how a bookshelf allows for vertical storage, elevating trash and recycle bins optimize the square footage for people that live in small spaces.

Solution: Personal trash and recycle bins that can be mounted on the edge of a bookshelf will make limited floorspace more usable.
